Culture Change Julie Ballard, MC5, is an Assistant Missouri State Long-Term Care Ombudsman and has been in this position since 2002. Prior to this she worked as a state surveyor of long-term care facilities. Julie is an RN and has a BSN from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. Julie has been involved in Missouri’s culture change coalition, Missouri Coalition Celebrating Care Continuum Change (MC5), since its beginning in 2004, and is the past President of MC5. Session Description: Learn what steps you can take to create a person-directed culture within your facility, where the dignity and value of each individual who lives and works there is respected and celebrated.
