 Trainers
Dr. Novella Perrin, Ph.D, retired Assistant
Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate
School at the University of Central Missouri in
Warrensburg, was also a professor of sociology
and the Director of the UCM Gerontology
Institute. She is a consultant and author of
numerous books and articles as well as a
frequent presenter at local, state and national
meetings on aging related issues. Her most
current research focuses on behavioral
management of Alzheimer's Disease, nurse aide
retention, rural aging, elder abuse and aging in
place. Dr. Perrin also is active in numerous
professional and service organizations.


Margaret E. Stone, Ph.D., MSW, MPH is a
consultant in private practice and teaches
graduate courses in health care administration
and research methods. Her interest areas
include health care ethics and ethical decisionmaking,
aging and mental health, and geriatric
health care delivery systems. She is a frequent
presenter for the Missouri League for Nursing.
